Steve Martinez-Partida
I’m a graduate from Arizona State University in the Mass Communication and Media Studies program at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Over my career in Television Production, I’ve served as a News Director, Coordinating Producer and Senior TV Producer for various media outlets. I’ve written, directed and produced independent films and videos, including a romantic comedy made in Mexico, one of the first cinematic projects shot on digital video. I’ve also worked on many political and social movement campaigns. Originally, I returned to college because it was a lifelong goal to complete my degree. In recent months, I’ve begun exploring the possibility of conducting academic research into the symbiotic relationship of media, politics, and consumerism fostering cynicism about climate change and sustainability. This blog is part of that exploration.
